Handle
Props and Propositions, Pitzhanger Manor

Handle conjures up a notion of an object which has a corporal impact and frames the space the body occupies. The word Handle defines an object that can be held or operated by a part of the body for practical function. A designed and often unconsciously operated tool, that has a large baring on differing mode in which we negotiate and manipulate space. This new work is part of a series of works which analyse international physical measurement standards and the science of responsive design through performance, sculpture, film and text.
