I Fell Back and You Were There is a performance work by Ilona Sagar, commissioned by the Hayward Gallery as part of the exhibition What’s Love Got to Do with It. The piece explores bodily movement, gesture, and collective action in response to the site and architectural design of Dan Graham’s Waterloo Sunset Pavilion, drawing on Simone Forti’s studies of pedestrian motion and her collaboration with Dan Graham, the work becomes a choreography of relation, between bodies, structures, and the rhythms of an archive.
