Her Chambre Bleu investigates veneers, surface, and the semiotic values of design. I was inspired by the identity of the Hospital Club and how the brand manifested itself in the club’s interior design. The title Her Chambre Bleu makes reference to the infamous 17th century Paris Salon of Catherine de Vivonne. They were characterised by being decadent, yet rigorous, abiding by their own strict laws and formalities. The piece was performed by four actors and seven dancers during an event at the club.
